This angel is an original, one of a kind, art doll.
She was created for the Quilting Arts Magazine Guardian Angel challenge. The only
requirements were that the doll be made of cloth and be between 6 and 12 inches
tall. They suggested a pattern, which I modified.
While she is not my personal guardian angel -standing cool and serene, radiating
peace- she may just be the guardian angel for the world.
Her fabrics range from antique table linen to newly purchased material. She stands
nicely because she is hinged, much like a picture frame, and is bottom heavy thanks
to my husband's contribution - tire weights!
Her armature or internal structure is wire. She is 11.5 inches tall,
11.5 inches wide, 3 inches deep and weighs less than a pound.
