This angel is an original, one of a kind, art doll.
It is February outside, all shades of white, 5 degrees with a wind chill of -20.
Inside, I have just finished this angel, all shades of green and orange,a warm,
comforting contrast.
She became last October at 1:30 in the morning. Two small bells, hanging on the
stair landing, began ringing loud enough to wake me from a sound sleep. When I
was fully awake they instantly stopped ringing and my mind was flooded with visions
of angels in the pumpkin patch, the 23rd Peace Angel.
Her face is sculpted from polymer clay. Her armature, is wire and steel brake line
corvered with yarn and/or fabric. Her Pumpkins are fabric covered Aves Apoxie Sculpt
and her base is fabric covered Aves Apoxie Sculpt over hardware cloth. She is
18 inches tall, 10 inches wide, 12 inches deep and weighs 6 pounds.
