This angel is an original, one of a kind, art doll.
She was created for the Central New York Doll is Art Guild 2007 challenge.
This challenge required the use of 3 colors - black, white and one other of your
choice. I wanted a name more descriptive than blue. I asked the salesperson at the
fabric store what he would call one of the fabrics I had chosen. He thought a
minute, looked at the bolt and proclaimed it cerulean!
The 24th Peace Angel became Black, White and Cerulean Blue.
Her face and gloved hands are sculpted from polymer clay. Her armature, is wire and
steel brake line. She is 20 inches tall, 6 wide, 14 deep and weighs about 3 pounds.
